Yep. It's over. Halloween has officially come and gone which means only one thing....
The HOLIDAY SEASON has begun-- 53 shopping days until Christmas. Whaaatt?
Can y'all believe it? I can't. It was June 15th two days ago, I swear. And the bricks I have invested in are doing absolutely nothing to slow down the growth of my precious baby boys. So, all we can do is savor each second we have with these precious lives.
We hit up Front Street yesterday evening for Witch Way to Main Street. Why Main Street and not Front Street, I am not sure about? But I am a Natchitoches newbie so I just go with the flow. [A Little Word from the Not-So Wise: When Christmas Fest comes and y'all make your plans to come see the gorgeous lights...beware of the traffic. It's a beast. It took me 30 minutes to go less than 2 miles.] It's so worth it though!
Yoda made his appearance, finally....It only took a sucker and a fast-hand to catch him with all his gear on.
My Sweet Star Wars Clan....
Can y'all see the lights behind the boys? They are going up! The opening ceremony for the lights is Saturday, November 19th! Come see it! Come see us. We would love to see ya :) The event is free to the public...woo-hoo!
Clone Trooper and best buddy, AJ the Batman
AJ's sweet Momma, Ashlee...I have had so much fun getting to know her! She has been a great friend!
Family picture....somewhat....it was crazy and chaotic on Front Street. Beggers can't be choosers when patrons are walking all around you!
Spooky costume...
My Little Loves
Look at the river, y'all. So sad. They say Cane River is 8 inches deep at its deepest on the Front Street side. It has been nicknamed now Cane River Creek/Cane River Pond. People I have talked to who have lived here their whole life have never seen it this low.
Boo. Hopefully we will get some good rain this winter/spring!
Such sweet men! Nick is actually shielding Austin from the ducks, geese and dogs in this picture. He has a big phobia of animals right now. I was really starting to worry about it, but then thankfully I received an article yesterday that stated phobias are absolutely normal and short-lived in toddlers. Thank Goodness!
Hope y'all had a great Halloween! Now it's on to November...

I think we might actually come see the lights this year! We want to try to, anyway. If we come, I will let you know! and Parker has a MAJOR animal phobia too right now. But Caroline can't get enough of animals. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you were shocked at first about the toddler phobia thing. One word for ya, sister...clowns.
