Happy Birthday, Austin Randle

Sweet Aussie,

It's been two years since you entered this world.

Our lives have been transformed due to your entrance.  The joy, the happiness, and the blessings have all multiplied due to you being born and transformed our family of 3 into an incredibly blessed family of 4.

You were a spit-fire...right from the beginning.

Such an active baby! I seriously felt like a couple of days before your actual birthday you might kick yourself right on out.  But there you stayed, until 3:50 p.m. on January 11, 2010.  I cried at the sight of your beautiful face.  What you didn't even know, that right at the moment, your Daddy and I grew closer together and a renewal of faith happened right at the very moment.  You did that, little man.  Your presence rocked our world and brought us all, the Lee family, closer together.

Your little personality is so intoxicating.  How a small toddler can captivate the attention of a room and have everyone laughing is beyond me! But you can do it.  You came out with a mission-- to get somewhere...and to get there quick. Crawling by 6 months, walking by 10 months...you were ready to conquer this world early.

You have such a sweet and kind spirit.

Determined and independent, but very loving.  You say things like "Peees" and "Cank coo" and "Sorry" with hugs and kisses following.  You are very aware of everything around you and very determined to participate in everything big brother Jackson is into.  While some things like hitting a golf ball or hitting a baseball off a tee might seem a little tough, you take your best shot!

Yes, a little-man on the move is what you are.

You love hard.

And you let us know when you aren't feeling the love too much.

But most of the time you are one cool dude.

Thank you for bringing so much joy into our lives.  I can't wait to see how you are going to be as a young adult.  It really does excite me to see the gentleman you will become, but I do love this stage of your life.  You make me realize how important it is to slow down, sit down, and soak up every precious minute of making memories.  You are precious, Austin.  And you are so loved.

We celebrated his birthday this morning with a little birthday french-toast, a little singing, and one big candle blow-out by the little man.  Happy Birthday, Austin!

Love,

Your Momma
