1. The Blue Bottle of Johnson & Johnson Baby Wash
This stuff smells like Johnson & Johnson captured 1,000 sweet smelling babies who were singing the Hallelujah chorus with sweet braided lavender head-dresses and flowing white dresses AND BOTTLED IT! I love this stuff so much so that I filled my huge bathtub and submerged in a bath of pure baby-scented excellence. I really thought Johnson and Johnson could not top the purple bottle (Lavender), and then no one could top the Apples and Honey Johnson and Johnson, but this scent....TAKE ME AWAY!
2. Good ole H20
And you might even say, that instead of hoarding paper-towels, I am hoarding water bottles because they accumulate everywhere around me. I guess it's a good habit. I should practice throwing them away more often, but still. At one point during our SSMTC celebration, Mom loud-whispered me and said, "Hannah, I don't think you have enough water." I had one in my purse sticking out and three bottles around my purse. Oh well. It is worlds better than Diet Dr. Pepper (Oh how I miss those!).
Which leads me to my next favorite thing....
3. Coffee
Community Coffee.
My co-workers brew this coffee like its the last pot that will ever be brewed. Strong. Smells like home. It manages to bring me out of my mid-morning stupor and I am forever grateful. Foreva.
4. Rio
My kids are LOVING this movie right now. And so are Nick and me.
Super cute, great music, and a great story. Would totally recommend it for your household-- no matter what it comprises of. Don't forget to drop it, drop it, drop it looooowwww.
5. Lululemon Run to Inspire Cropped Pants
Feels like butta' y'all.
These pants keep everything in, tight, up and in all the right places. Plus they keep you warm and have a great wicking fabric that doesn't weight you down. LOVE THEM! A definite staple to any runners wardrobe.
6. Sun-maid Raisin Bread
How have I missed this for so long?
I feel like I have seriously missed out on the best breakfast food. To say Austin loves this is an understatement. He wakes up saying "Toast! Toast!" And don't think Austin is the only one enjoying this-- It's 90 calories/slice. So I will toast it and put fat-free cream cheese on it or microwave an egg and put it in between 2 pieces. Awesome quick to-go breakfast.
Go get you some.
7. Psalm 139
Lindsey and I have committed to memorizing Psalm 139 and with 2 verses down, it is no coincidence that we chose this passage. Such wonderful precious promises from our Heavenly Father. I didn't work on my memorization like I should have last year-- mostly, I got intimidated by the volume of verses and words that accompanied it. But this passage is different. It is simple. Clear and precise. He knows us, y'all. And He loves us. Good stuff.
8. Mississippi Mud Brownies
Let me tell you.
I have been trying so hard to eat better. You know the whole garbage in, garbage out thing. Well, yesterday I folded. Baaaddd. And then there's Pioneer Woman with her amazing dishes and scrum-didly-uptious desserts and well, I made these bad boys. So very good, y'all. But so very rich. I really wasn't able to eat much since they were so rich, but my boys? They had no trouble putting them down.
9. A Trip Down Memory Lane
Oh bless it.
I love these women more than I can express and when I came across this picture earlier in the week, well....I teared up.
Not only did I realize how much Austin favors me, but I also saw my oldest nephews reflection in my Sister's face, my Moms love for blush, and how my Mom could also track down the biggest BONNET in the South. And let me tell you, even though this picture does not capture it, she could also track down the biggest bow in the Tri-State area. Priorities. All little Southern girls must have big bows and bonnets. Enough said.
10. Foot rubs
Whether you do it yourself with bandage tap and a towel,
it is HEAVEN-sent. Lord, love that baby for rubbing my feet. I wish I could go into detail about how long he was able to rub my feet, but once we got the fundamentals down about grip and position, he was done. Oh well. Don't think he won't be asked to try again!
That's all I got folks.
I am looking forward to some sunshine this weekend. And I know we need the rain, but I am getting a little claustrophobic these days. I find myself having to push through this cold, wet, rainy, dark days. This time of year seems to bog me down a little bit. But as soon as it comes, it goes, and I am really looking forward to a good sunshiney weekend!
Almost Friday, y'all! YAY!
